ABOUT KATHRYN
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Kathryn Emily has always had a love for fashion and design. She has drawn much of her inspiration from the landscape, architecture and culture of Austin. She uses this inspiration to create garments that are classic and timeless while still having a unique modern edge to them.
Bel·ve·dere :
bel, which means "beautiful," and vedere, which means "view."
This name was derived from one of Kathryn's favorite places to watch the sunset in Austin. Belvedere street overlooks the country side of Austin and has a beautiful view of the 360 bridge. This view encapsulates all the different elements that contribute to the beauty of Austin, Texas.

designing a garment for such a significant day in someone's life. The garment will forever act as a way to encapsulate all the memories from a certain moment into a tangible object."
Career
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Kathryn knew that she wanted to pursue Bridal and Special Occasion design. Throughout college she had the privilege of interning for many skilled designers and quickly found a passion for designing custom gowns. After refining her skills, she decided to launch Belvedere, a couture design label that creates one of a kind pieces that are authentic and elegant.
